Since our conception in 2006, we've had regular events in the Midlands and London, as well as gigs at well established events in Reading, Bristol, Brighton and even Malta and Lithuania; as well as having supported such legends as Plaid, Luke Vibert, A Guy Called Gerald, Si Begg, Ceephax Acid Crew, Frog Pocket, The Doubtful Guest, Fischerspooner and Funkstürung. Following several compilation appearances, self funded releases and collaborations, Bit-Phalanx is evolving and moving into a new era with a new home online and a new download service as it tests the waters as a net-label, giving its artists and others yet more creative output opportunities and hopefully adding another string to its bow.

New FREE EP releases: April's Bit-Pod sessions by Gareth Clarke and Exillon & Dabecy
Hello all. With our monthly podcast radio show, The Bit-Pod, finding its stride as we headed into April, it was only natural that we started playing with the formula a little. So rather than just one usual special guest session, for April's Bit-Pod we've only gone and got three artists instead! Well, two of them working in collaboration... so, techincally two sets by three artists.
The first finds San Franciscan golden boy Exillon hooking up with neighbouring veteran Dabecy for an exclusive full 40 minute live session, recroded at the pairs 'Dial Up' club night on 20th April. The second session is by one of Bit-Phalanx's most recent associates, Gareth Clarke. One of Sublight Records earlier signees, and frequenting roster guest over at The Centrifuge label, Gareth Clarke first joined the Bit-P fold for a remix on our charity remix album with Coppe' and it's coinciding UK tour last year. For April's podcast Gareth provides a 20 minute retrospective mix featuring tracks from every solo release of his, as well as rare, archived and unreleased pieces, entitled the 'Let Fly' mix.
Both mixes are available as their own stand-alone FREE download EPs now from our Releases page.
April's original podcast is still available to stream/download for free from the Bit-Phalanx Soundcloud.
Onwards and upwards to more special things for May!

Five years worth of friends on one killer compilation - 'Associates' - OUT NOW!
Of all the things Bit-Phalanx has to be greatful for since our first gigs, releases and other various outlets since 2007, those other artists, producers, performers and musicians etc who have been kind enough to donate their time and talent to our various projects is most certainly the thing we're most grateful for. None of those projects would have been as memorable or achievable without them, and have often provided the initial sparks for future collaboration.
We'd like to take a moment to hereby thank them all most sincerely, and as a way of paying tribute to their efforts, Bit-Phalanx has compiled a FREE compilation album with a selection of just 16 of aforementioned collaborations. With nearly all tracks being brand new and/or exclusive to this album, 'Associates' perfectly represents the diverse talents that help stitch together the ethos of our community, as well as hopefully introduce you to a few artists you may yet to have had the pleasure of.
With brand new and exclusive tracks from the mighty Coppe' and HK119, brand new recent Bit-Phalanx associates such as Fred moTh and Derek Piotr are joined by some of our more regular guest stars, such as; Gusset, K21, Timohthy A.D, Jonny3snareS, Microphyst, Gavin Hislop, Odan, Topher, Arctic Sunrise, Alan Titmash, Libythth and Project Serendipity... delivering one of the sharpest, jam-packed and killer collections we've been "associated" with so far.
